Welcome to

A Family Focused on

Jesus Christ

When we say "family," we mean it, because that's how Jesus talked about the church. Our members are brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, pursuing the will of God together.  We are a family founded by Jesus, focused on following Jesus, and helping others to find Jesus.

We believe the church is here to fulfill the Great Commission of Mt. 28:18-20 together, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Jesus has planted this family in southwest Riverside County so that we can spread the Good News of Jesus Christ with our friends, neighbors, co-workers and classmates. Our preaching, our ministries, even our budget are built around that idea. We know that Jesus can and will completely transform the lives of anyone who calls on His name. We're here to help as many people as possible have that experience. That includes you.

"While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

Matthew 12: 46-50

We are

Real People

Every member of Rockridge Church, from our Lead Pastor, to our worship team, to the elders, to the body, has experienced the saving grace and transformative power of Jesus Christ. We all have a testimony, a story of being lost before we were found, of being blind before we were given sight, of being dead in sin before we were made alive in Christ (Eph. 2:1-5).

We emphasize a family lifestyle that includes authenticity, truly being ourselves with one another, without pretense and without worry. It's a family ethic that says, "I need Jesus as badly as you do, and what He has done for you, He has done for me, too." Because we know that our righteousness comes only from the blood of Christ, and not from our own actions, we can and should be open and honest with each other.

If you decide to come join us sometime, you don't have to feel intimidated. No one here think of themselves as perfect and sinless. Whether we've followed Jesus for 30 years or three minutes, we need Him and His righteousness all the same.

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

Ephesians 2:19-22

We used to be

Completely Broken

We used to be completely broken. But now are grateful for undeserved redemption, astonished by amazing Grace, healed by forgiveness, humbled by the divine invitation to be included in the greatest cause on earth. The realization of this truth is what inspires us to worship the Lord for he is worthy of all our praise

"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

Ephesians 4:15-16

We serve

The perfect God

We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor, and our hearts are open to the rich. We believe God wants to prosper those who believe and are generous for His purpose. There are many ways to get involved with serving at Voyage. Whether you give financially, or give with your time, gifts and talents, we encourage you to be generous and spread the word of God in every way you can.
